Health Benefits of Plant-Based Nutrition Presentation presented by Healthy Countryside*
What you eat plays a vital role in your health. Nutrition experts Dr. Terry Mason and Meryl Fury MS, RN discussed the incredible health benefits of eating a daily variety of whole plants (vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, seeds, and herbs) and less ultra-processed and sugary food. These healthy choices can lower the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, dementia, and some cancers.
